Service Grant Program Extension: Residential IPs Dear operators, We are opening a few slots for a 3rd iteration of our Service Grant Program. This time, we will endorse up to 10 nodes running on residential IP addresses, with monthly BTC payments. Requirements for an eligible node 1. Node meets the minimum requirements - unless otherwise agreed with @serinko and @mervenym. 2. Node uses a residential IP: The IP shows as: ASN type: ISP when checked on ipinfo.io (search `https://ipinfo.io/<NODE_IPv4>`) 3. Operators run the node with WireGuard enabled, IPv6, and in Exit Gateway mode. 4. Operators accept the Terms and Conditions 5. Node routing score is above 90% 6. Node config score is 8/8; you can check it at https://harbourmaster.nymtech.net/gateway/<NODE_ID_KEY> 7. Node is on the latest version at the time of registration and maintains one of the last three versions at all times (latest plus the two prior). Additional rules • Location: We do not restrict locations, but we prefer ~50% of nodes to be in the USA. • The Nym team, represented by @serinko and @mervenym, reserves the right to change rules, make exceptions for particular operators or locations based on private agreements, or discontinue the program for some or all nodes. • If a node falls out of compliance, and the operator neither communicates reasons nor attempts to fix it, the node will be removed from the program. • Grants will be paid in Bitcoin, equivalent to the agreed USD amount, to the address provided by the operator by the end of each month. • Registration will be open for one week, and operators will receive full payment for March. • Grant amounts may vary depending on location, operator, and machine type. • This grant is intended to support operators’ server costs, efforts, and commitment - not to generate significant profit. • Accepted nodes will be automatically added to the Delegation program without additional registration. • Operators should be familiar with the Community Counsel pages and understand the potential risks of running a node in different locations.
